Notes from watching the 2015 election (2019)

Here are my notes from watching the last election (2015).

BEGINNING: What is wrong with us?

Justin Trudeau has already become the greatest prime minister in Canada!

It reminds me of the blue wave of Brian Mulroney in 1988. We are all purple now!

We are back in the future of our past.

Everything is already totally different.

For once Atlantic Canada has weight. The conservative voted liberal.

CTV sets look like Apple’s OSX.

The algal bloom may also deplete oxygen in the waters and/or release toxins that may cause illness in humans and other animals.

Like when Frank McKenna won every seat in 1987.

Orange and green were obviously not real colours.

We are now 33% better!

I’ve heard that the Blue Jays will be wearing red shirts in the next inning.

Mulcair will shave his beard.

We need a party with the colour yellow!

Dynasty: “power, lordship, sovereignty,” from dynastes “ruler, chief,” from dynasthai “have power.

It might take another 100 years to see a different outcome than the red vs. blue scheme.

Actually, it might never happen.

It’s still early, but it’s pretty late.

Jack Layton has turned in his grave.

Tom forgot to say something…

Canada Vote sets. Wendy Wesley in purple and Diana Swain in yellow?

END: They like to touch their chest.

Through their exploration of the Everglades National Park, Daniel H. Dugas and Valerie LeBlanc document, in this poetic collection, the effects of human presence in the natural world and the traces left behind. Everglades is an ode to the beauty, the fragility and the resilience of nature faced with the invasiveness of a particular species, ours.
